Currently, Rhino 3D is only available on Windows 2000, XP Pro,
XP Home, and Vista. However, Rhino will also run on an Intel Mac
with BootCamp
or Parallels.
Rhino is not yet available for use natively on the Apple Mac OS
X operating system, but this is under development. The major technical
challenges have been overcome, but there is still much left to
do. You can find out more by following this link: www.irhino3d.com
Other exciting new projects under developement in the Rhino Labs
include Paneling
Tools and Grasshopper.
In addition, for the Marine Industry, the developers are working
on an advanced flattening tool called Squish.
The Squish command flattens a non-developable (curved in two directions)
3d mesh or NURBS surface into a flat 2-D pattern.
